The body of the fireplace is covered with maple veneer, each side of the fireplace has 3 recessed panels to enhance the depth.
The 13" deep mantel is supported by hand carved feathered corbels, it is accented with 3 horizontal rows of egg & dart molding along with a center maple applica.
The upper & lower leggs are made of solid maple and are fluted to add to its Colonial style. The mantel was built to fit into the exsisting crown at the ceiling and around the orginal red marble.
